    Properties

    accountId?: string

The account that source was connected as, or null for a source without accounts (the device). An entry is only listed while the same account is connected, so signing into a second OneDrive shows that account's history instead of another person's dead links — and the first account's entries come back when it does.

    item: IFileItem

The entry as that source listed it, handed straight back to it to reopen the file.

    key: string

Opaque id of this entry, the same one its preview is stored under. The viewer fills it in; never build one yourself. It is here so that storing the list tells you everything you need to prune previews — see IRecentsConfig.setRecentThumbnail.

    openedAt: number

When it was last opened (epoch ms). The list is ordered newest first.

    providerId: string

Id of the source it was opened from: 'device', a built-in drive, or a customProviders id.

    viewState?: IDocumentViewState

Where the reader had got to, recorded when the document was last closed. Absent for an entry written before this was kept, or for a document closed before it finished opening; reopening then simply starts at the top, as it always did.
